Minister of State for Finance and Revenue Bilal Azhar Kayani has said that global companies come and go, adding that if some companies had left Pakistan then several companies have also entered in the country for investment opprtunities, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.
While responding to Senator Shahadat Awan’s questions about the details of the companies which had left Pakistan, Bilal Azhar Kayani told the Senate though some multinational companies had moved away from Pakistan, while new companies were continuing to enter the country.
He said major companies, including Alibaba, Aramco and Turkish Petroleum, had entered Pakistan and dozens of companies started businesses in the country between 2023 and 2025.
Bilal Kayani also said the government was making efforts to attract more investment and bring additional companies to Pakistan.
