The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has extended the deadline for submission of technical proposals from prospective buyers of two new Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise teams, 24NewsHD TV reported on Saturday.
According to sources, the deadline has now been set for December 24, marking the second revision in dates.
Initially, the submission date was scheduled for December 15, then revised to December 22.
The latest adjustment was made due to banks being closed over the weekend.
According to sources, technical proposals must be submitted by 4:00 pm on December 24.
The PSL authorities are expected to announce the technically qualified bidders for the new franchises on December 27.
The open bidding for the two new teams will then take place on January 8, starting at 4:00 pm, allowing interested parties to participate in the live auction.
Officials have stressed that only technically qualified bidders will be allowed to participate in the auction, which will determine the ownership of the two new PSL franchises.
