Mian Inam Bari, who secured victory as an independent candidate from PP 238 Bahawalnagar has formally joined the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.  

He announced to join PPP formally after the meeting with PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto. The meeting served as a platform to discuss collaborative efforts and chart a course for future political endeavors in Bahawalnagar.

Bilawal Bhutto, extending a warm welcome to Mian Inam Bari, expressed appreciation for his decision to join the PPP ranks.

Inam Bari has won the Punjab Assembly election from PP-238 Bahawalnagar-II by securing 54,500 votes.  His runner-up was Syed Nazar Mahmood Shah of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) who bagged 49,401 votes.
