Gold and silver prices recorded an increase in both international and domestic markets on Friday, reflecting an upward trend in precious metal rates.
In the global market, gold gained $25 per ounce, pushing its price to $5,037 per ounce.
Following the international trend, gold prices in the local market also moved upward. The price of gold per tola increased by Rs2,500, reaching Rs526,462.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold rose by Rs2,144 to settle at Rs451,356.
Silver prices also witnessed an increase in the domestic market. The price of silver per tola went up by Rs170, reaching Rs8,574.
Market analysts attribute the rise in local prices to fluctuations in international rates and currency parity.
