Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Dr Yasmeen Rashid, Ejaz Chaudhary, Umar Sarfraz Cheema, and Mian Mehmoodur Rashid have urged the party to postpone the agitation movement during the holy month of Ramazan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
In a joint letter written from Kot Lakhpat Jail, Lahore, to the media, PTI leaders asked the main leaders to defer all kinds of protest movements.
They strongly condemned President Asif Ali Zardari’s statement against the founder of Pakistan, Tahreek-e-Insaf.
The letter stated that “PTI founder serving his jail term in an honourable manner”. They asked the federal government to stop politicizing the health of Imran Khan.
They urged the government to start treatment of PTI’s founder's eyes after getting permission from his sisters and personal doctors.
They said, “We need to take the organization to the grassroots level for local government elections in our country.”
Increasing terrorism in the country, rising inflation, unemployment, children dropping out of schools, and corruption should be highlighted everywhere.
