A woman was shot dead by her husband following a domestic dispute in the Miani area of Sargodha, 24NewsHD TV reported on Friday.
According to initial reports, the suspect opened fire on his wife, identified as Farhat, after an argument at their residence.
She was struck by seven bullets and died on the spot due to severe injuries.
After the shooting, the accused fled the scene.
Police took the body into custody and shifted it to a morgue for medico-legal formalities.
They have launched a search operation to apprehend the suspect after registering a case.
