The Election Commission secretary has paid a visit to the Printing Press of Pakistan to check the printing of ballot papers, sources said on Friday.
They added the secretary expressed satisfaction with the quality of ballot papers and the printing process.
The process of printing the ballot papers will be completed by February 3, the sources said, adding that 26 crore ballot papers will be printed till February 3.
The insiders said 2070 tonnes of special paper has been provided for the purpose.
A total of 17,816 candidates from national and provincial assemblies are in the run for the election 2024
