The federal government has decided to take tough action against those committing fraud with people through fake booking for Hajj (pilgrimage) or Umrah under the private and government schemes, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
The Ministry of Religious Affairs has sent a letter to the director general FIA for legal action against such persons.
On the other hand, the ministry has asked those aspiring to perform Hajj not to join any WhatsApp group, and inform it of any such group the purpose of which is to commit fraud with people.
