Punjab Wildlife Department has arrested two deer meat suppliers red-handed during a raid in Johar Town of Lahore on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to report, a large quantity of deer meat, skin, 14 live deer and a trophy head of a sambar recovered from the possession of the accused.
FIR has been registered against the accused under sections 12 and 15 of the Wildlife Act.
Operation was carried out under the supervision of Additional Chief Wildlife Ranger Mudassar Hassan and headed by Deputy Chief Wildlife Ranger Lahore Region Adnan Ali.
Wildlife officials raided in Johar Town and arrested two accused Muhammad Hassan and Abdul Basit red-handed.
