Former president Asif Ali Zardari visited the residence of ex-PM Ch Shujaat Hussain in Lahore, 24NewsHD TV channel reported Tuesday.
The meeting between Asif Ali Zardari and Shujaat Hussain continued for more than an hour in a room. Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain's family members were also present.
The former president flashed a victory sign as he left the residence of Shujaat Hussain.
Earlier in the day, the allied parties of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif-led-government took a unanimous decision to hold polls on time, rejecting PTI chief Imran Khan.
The special meeting of the heads of the coalition partners of the sitting government expressed resolve to stand firm again Imran Khan.
The participants of the meeting expressed resolve to continue supporting Hamza Shehbaz. The meetings took place in wake of the situation that emerged after the victory of PTI in by-polls on 20 Punjab Assembly seats.
