An alleged terrorist was killed while his two accomplices were arrested in injured condition following an encounter with police in Mardan on Wednesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
According to details, police went to Babuzai Hills to flush out terrorists from there.
On seeing the police party, the terrorists opened fire besides hurling hand grenades at the cops.
The Force retaliated. As a result of which the terrorist, who was from Charsadda and was wanted by the police since 2014, was killed.
Police also claimed to have recovered hand grenades and other weapons from the slain terrorist.
