Pop icon Charli XCX has officially married her longtime partner George Daniel, drummer of the British band The 1975, in a minimalist-yet-fashion-forward ceremony at Hackney Town Hall.
The 32-year-old British singer, whose real name is Charlotte Emma Aitchison, surprised fans and media alike with her unorthodox bridal look: a white mini dress, statement sunglasses, and Jimmy Choo heels. The intimate ceremony, attended by just 20 guests, included bandmates Adam Hann and Ross MacDonald, although frontman Matty Healy was notably absent.
