A policeman lost his life when some unidentified assailants opened fire on him in Bara Bazar of Khyber, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
Soon after the firing incident, local residents rushed to the spot and shifted the dead body of the policeman to the local hospital.
After receiving the report, local police also reached the site of the incident and collected evidence.
