Son of a policeman in Nawabshah, irked over the police’s inaction, torched his rickshaw in front of a police station on Sunday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Sajjad Malah said that thrice he went to the police station for the registration of a case of battery theft from his rickshaw, but every time the staff deputed at the station, instead of lodging the complaint, misbehaved with him and asked him to leave the building.
The driver said it was unfortunate that the police, which were meant to provide justice to people, treat them with contempt.
