In a tragic road accident on Sunday, three people lost their lives and at least forty others sustained serious injuries when a speeding passenger coach overturned in Khairpur, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to the channel report, the accident took place on the National Highway in the Gambat area of Khairpur. Police officials stated that the crash was caused by overspeeding, leading the vehicle to lose control and overturn. Some of the injured are reported to be in critical condition.
The ill-fated coach was on its way from Karachi to Punjab when the mishap occurred. Among the injured are Munir Taj, Baby Gada, Hussain Nubuwat, Shohaib Shah Farhan, and several others, whose names were being confirmed by authorities.
Upon receiving information, local police and rescue teams rushed to the accident site and promptly transported the injured to nearby hospitals for urgent medical treatment.
