Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has congratulated newly elected British Prime Minister Andy Burnham on assuming office.
In a congratulatory message posted on social media platform X, Ishaq Dar extended his heartfelt greetings to Burnham and expressed Pakistan’s desire to work closely with his government and British counterparts.
“Heartiest congratulations to the newly elected British Prime Minister Andy Burnham on assuming the office of Prime Minister,” Dar said in his message.
The deputy prime minister reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to further strengthening the longstanding friendly relations between Pakistan and the United Kingdom.
He also expressed the resolve to enhance mutual cooperation between the two countries in various fields, including areas of shared interest, for the benefit of both nations.
