Thieves stole gold jewellery, silver, cash and household items worth millions of rupees in two separate house burglaries in Faisalabad, police said.
In the first incident, burglars broke into the house of Latif Shah in Chak 499-GB, within the jurisdiction of Mamunkanjan police station.
The thieves allegedly took 10 tolas of gold valued at Rs4.25 million, 100 tolas of silver worth Rs680,000, Rs100,000 in cash and other household items.
In a separate incident, thieves entered the house of Tasneem Abbas in the Batala Colony police area and escaped with gold jewellery worth Rs2 million and Rs400,000 in cash.
Police registered separate cases and launched investigations into both burglaries.
No arrests were reported immediately.
