Unidentified armed accused shot dead a young man during a robbery in the Shikarpur area of Sindh, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
The incident took place in the village Raza Mohammad Wadhio which is located in the jurisdiction of Golo Daro Police Station.
Police said that some armed dacoits intercepted a young man Sajan son of Ali Gul Wadhio who was riding a motorcycle and tried to snatch his motorcycle, mobile phone and cash.
The victim tried to resist, after which the armed gunmen started firing on him and the deceased became critically injured but later died on his way to the hospital.
Some eyewitnesses said that the attackers were firing fearlessly and later escaped from the scene. Soon after the incident, local police reached the area and after collecting necessary evidences started an investigation.
All the accused escaped from the scene after the dacoity. Police trying to apprehend the culprits but no report of arrest was received till the filing of this report.
