A lawmaker of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has contracted coronavirus, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
Member of the National Assembly (MNA) Kiran Dar’s test result has come back positive. She has now put herself in quarantine at her home in Lahore.
The third wave of coronavirus is proving more dangerous as the positivity ratio and the number of infections have soared to new heights.
During the last 24 hours (Friday), Pakistan has reported 42 new deaths and 3,876 infections.
