Former prime minister and PML-N President Nawaz Sharif, who was due to leave for Saudi Arabia today, has dropped his plan following an advice by doctors to take complete rest owing to a heart problem, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
Sources told 24News TV channel that his family doctor, Dr. Adnan, was examining him and had advised him to use pacemakers.
It is worth-mentioning here that both Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz are already in Saudi Arabia.
The chief minister had headed to Saudi Arabia yesterday to perform Umrah.
Meeting with Javed Latif
PML-N leader Mian Javed Latif called on Nawaz Sharif at Jatiumra on Thursday and discussed with him country’s political and social situation.
On this occasion, Javed Latif reiterated his commitment with the PML-N leadership. “My link with the party is unbreakable. The PML-N is united under Nawaz Sharif’s leadership,” he added.
