A stone-hearted man who brutally killed his wife and five children a few days ago was shot dead in a police encounter in Sargodha on Friday, 24NewsHD TV channel reported.
The police encounter took place in the jurisdiction of Bhagtanwala Police Station, Sargodha.
According to details, a police team was present at a picket at 27 West Pul, who signalled three armed men who were riding a motorcycle to stop, but they opened fire on the police team in retaliation.
When the police team started chasing them, the accused stopped their motorcycle and started firing straight at the police.
When the firing was stopped, police found the dead body of a man during a search operation, while his other accomplices escaped from the scene. The dead man was later identified as Yaseen.
The accused killed his wife and five children a few days ago. Police are raiding different locations to apprehend the accomplices of the accused.
