Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei, extended Eid-ul-Fitr greetings to Muslims worldwide, emphasizing national unity, regional ties, and the importance of solidarity among Muslim nations, state media reported on Friday.

In his message, Khamenei said Pakistan and Afghanistan hold special significance for Iran, recalling the commitment of late Iranian leaders to Pakistan.

“We want Muslim countries to maintain good relations with each other,” he said, warning that hostile forces aim to disrupt relations between neighboring states.

The Supreme Leader praised Iranians for remaining united during times of conflict and lauded the military’s recent achievements.

“Our unity will force the enemy to yield,” he said, noting attempts by adversaries to sow fear and division had largely failed.

Khamenei also urged citizens to engage in self-reflection and address internal shortcomings.

He paid tribute to the Iranian president and other officials for their leadership and service, describing the new Iranian year as one of courage and national cohesion.
