Dr Gohar Ejaz, former interim federal minister, on Tuesday congratulated General Asim Munir on his promotion to the rank of field marshal.
Taking to social media, Dr Gohar Ejaz wrote, “Heartfelt Congratulations to Field Marshal Asim Munir!”
He said, “On his historic promotion only the second Field Marshal in Pakistan’s history. A proud moment for our Armed Forces and the nation. Field Marshal’s unwavering dedication to Pakistan’s security and integrity is truly commendable. Now we have to make an endeavour to make Pakistan Economic Power Inshallah.”
