PML-N Senator Irfan Siddiqui has said there is no truth in reports that PTI founder Imran Khan was being contacted by some quarters.
Talking to a private TV Channel, Siddiqui said the nature of the cases filed against PML-N leaders during Imran Khan's government was revengeful, while PML-N government did not believe in revenge politics.
He said PML-N will not dissolve the National Assembly either. Senator Siddiqui said that the dream of no-confidence is like many dreams of PTI. Pakistan is moving forward, Pakistan is stable in all respects including national security. To a question, Modi government has exposed the ugly face of India before the world.
He claimed, “PML-N government has not arrested anyone in false cases like drugs or rent, nor have we handcuffed them, nor have we put them in jail”. Senator Siddiqui said that, “democratic exercise continued in Pakistan, all institutions were doing their job, there is no political instability due to a person being in jail”.
Despite challenges Shehbaz Sharif government rescued national economy and also achieved the biggest victory against India.
To a question Senator said, if one person is released without completing the legal procedure, then we have to think about other inmates as well.
PML-N leader said despite the negative propaganda of the PTI, the stature of the Chief of Army Staff has become very high. He said PTI must understand that President Trump, the IMF or any other institution were not ready to help them.
The political and global landscape of the country has changed since May 10. He said that the constitutional procedure of no-confidence was used for the first time to remove the Imran Khan government, the same house that had trusted Imran Khan, moved no-confidence in him and his government went down. If PTI completes the numerical strength, we will face it with a smile.
Senator Siddiqui said the government will abide by the constitution and law and will not take any unconstitutional steps.
