Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari paid a courtesy call on PPP senior leader and former Punjab Governor Makhdoom Ahmed Mahmood.
During the meeting, the organizational and political issues were discussed. ON the occasion Makhdoom Ahmed invited Bilawal Bhutto to visit South Punjab. He demanded that PPP should hold rallies in Multan, Bahawalpur and Rahim Yar Khan. US-Iran tensions were also discussed in the meeting.
“US-Iran conflict is having a very negative impact on the region”, said Bilawal. He added that global economies and energies are under pressure due to the US-Iran conflict. Bilawal demanded that it is in the interest of the international community that the US-Iran conflict should be resolved as soon as possible. Bilawal lauded Pakistan's efforts in the US-Iran talks are commendable.
Governor Sardar Saleem Haider, PPP General Secretary Central Punjab Hassan Murtaza, Information Secretary Shahzad Saeed Cheema, Syed Murtaza Mahmood, Syed Usman Mahmood, Syed Ali Mahmood, Atta Gilani, Khan Zaka Ashraf and Abdul Qadir Shaheen were also present in the meeting.
