The federal government has announced summer vacation at educational institutions operating under its administration in the capital city.
According to an official notification, summer holidays in model schools, colleges and other federal government educational institutions in Islamabad will begin on May 25 and continue until July 31, 2026.
The notification stated that all federal educational institutions will reopen on August 3, 2026, following the conclusion of the summer break.
The decision has been taken in view of the summer season and rising temperatures, providing students and staff with an extended vacation period during the hottest months of the year.
