The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has decided to stage a sit-in at Faizabad on November 26, 24NewsHD TV channel reported.
PTI leader and Punjab Assembly Deputy Speaker Wasiq Qayyum Abbasi submitted a formal request to Rawalpindi DC to inform the administration about the plan.
PTI Rawalpindi will hold a peaceful sit-in near Faizabad on November 26, the request read, adding that the sit-in is a continuation of the ‘real freedom’ march.
Former Prime Minister Imran Khan will lead the sit-in and the Rawalpindi administration is requested to make arrangements including security, it maintained.
