As many as 30 Indian-sponsored terrorists were killed in a string of intelligence-based operations in different cities of of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to an ISPR statement issued on Thursday, on 19 November 2025, 23 khwarij belonging to Indian proxy Fitna al-Khwarij were killed in two separate engagements in Kurram District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
On reported presence of Khwarij, a targeted operation was conducted by the security forces personnel.
During the conduct of operation, security forces personnel effectively engaged the khwarij location and after an intense fire exchange, 12 khwarij were sent to hell.
Capitalising on intelligence with respect to presence of another group of khwarij, in same general area, in another intelligence-based operation, own troops successfully neutralized 11 more khwarij.
Sanitization operations were conducted to eliminate any other Indian-sponsored kharji found in the area as relentless counter-terrorism campaign under vision “Azm-e-Istehkam” (as approved by Federal Apex Committee on National Action Plan) by security forces and law enforcement agencies of Pakistan will continue at full pace to wipe out menace of foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country, the ISPR statement said.
Hours later in another statement, the ISPR said the security forces have killed seven more terrorists during three operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The ISPR said an intelligence-based operation (IBO) was carried out in KP’s Mohmand district on the reported presence of terrorists. “During the conduct of the operation, own troops effectively engaged the khawarij’s location and after an intense fire exchange, four khawarij were sent to hell.”
Another IBO was conducted in the Lakki Marwat district. In the ensuing fire exchange, “two khawarij were effectively neutralised by the security forces,” the ISPR said.
It added that during the third encounter in the Tank district, security forces killed one more terrorist.
“Sanitisation operations are being conducted to eliminate any other Indian sponsored kharji found in the area,” ISPR the statement said, adding: “Relentless counter-terrorism campaign under the vision of ‘Azm-i-Istehkam’ (as approved by the Federal Apex Committee on National Action Plan) by security forces and law enforcement agencies of Pakistan will continue at full pace to wipe out menace of foreign sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.”
Two wanted terrorists killed in CTD action
Two wanted terrorists were killed in a joint operation by Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) and police in Dera Ismail Khan.
The terrorists, wanted in several cases in connection with attacks on security forces and target killings, were identified as Muhammad Sohail alias Ahmad and Azmatullah alias Hafiz.
The joint action was carried out in Sarai Noorang area of DI Khan by a team of CTD and police personnel from Bannu and Lakki Marwat.
Terrorists Azmatullah was involved in martyrdom of eight security forces personnel including DSP Gul Muhammad Khan, Constable Naseem Gul and Lieutenant Arifullah.
Terrorists Muhammad Sohail was involved in martyrdom of Constable Mansoor Khan and LHC Hasim Khan.
President, PM laud security forces
President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have paid tribute to security forces for successful operations against Indian proxy fitna al Khwarij in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
In their separate statements, they applauded the professionalism of security forces in conducting the operations and killing twenty three Khwarij.
The President and Prime Minister said the entire nation stands resolute alongside the security forces in the fight against terrorism which will continue till the complete elimination of the menace.
