Construction work is currently underway on the Ravi Bridge section of the M-2 Motorway, the Motorway Police said on Sunday, cautioning motorists that traffic flow may be affected due to ongoing repairs.
According to Motorway Police spokesperson Syed Imran Ahmed, additional personnel and patrolling mobiles have been deployed to ensure smooth traffic management in the area.
He said heavy transport vehicles are being temporarily stopped to maintain the flow of light traffic across the bridge.
Motorway Police has urged road users to remain patient and strictly follow the instructions of officers on duty. Travellers have also been advised to check traffic updates before starting their journey.
