KHA has signed an MoU with B Braun Pakistan to promote hockey at grassroots level. The deal was signed by B Braun Pakistan CEO Ali Jalil and KHA Secreatry Olympian Hanif khan at a ceremony held at KHA Sports Complex Gulshan-e-Iqbal.
Prominent among them who were present on the occasion were KHA Chairperson and MNA Syeda Shehla Raza, KHA President Syed Imtiaz Ali Shah, Olympians and Internationals namely Iftikhar Syed, Kaleemullha, Nasir Ali, KHA chairman Gulfaraz Ahmed khan and DG Sindh colleges Prof.Naveed Siddique
Speaking on the occasion Shehla Raza hailed the Sponsorship which is vital for the revival of the fast glory.
She hoped that more sponsors will come forward and follow B Braun.
She expressed the hope that B | Braun Pakistan will also support the women’s hockey team in the near future.
The CEO of the firm Ali Jalil termed it a milestone for the revival of game.
Under the deal the firm will lend financial support of Rs 50,000 per month to brilliant forward Saad Ali for one year besides providing Rupees 100,000 for sports gear.
Jalil Said his company will also develop a hockey field in district Central under CSR. He lauded the hard work of former international Haider Hussain who is motivating force behind this deal.
KHA President Syed Imtiaz Ali Shah said efforts are being made to restore employment opportunities for outstanding players in goverment and private organization.
The DG Sindh Colleges Prof.Naveed said he will extend all support to KHA for the noble cause on the path of reviving golden era of the game.
