A man died on the spot on Monday after being hit by the Karachi Express on a railway track in Nawabshah, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The incident took place near the Daur area of Nawabshah. The deceased was riding a motorcycle.
Sources said that the young man who was riding a motorcycle was trying to cross the railway track in a hurry.
Soon after the incident, police rushed to the site and shifted the dead body of the young man to the hospital. Police also started an investigation into the incident.
Later, the train departed for the destination.
Earlier in June 2025, a 27-year-old deaf and dumb man was killed after he was run over by a train at Kanganpur in Kasur.
According to details, Fareed Express, heading from Karachi to Lahore, was passing through Kanganpur at 10:30 am when Muhammad Amjad, a resident of a suburban village of Kanganpur, Tangrian, who was walking on a track, could not hear the sound of the approaching train and was eventually run over by it.
As soon as they learnt about the incident, his family members, as well as other residents of the village, rushed to the spot and took his body to the village for the burial.
