The Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has made a codeshare agreement with Etihad Airways, including cargo and frequent flyer facilities, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to details, in addition to passenger flights, the agreement will apply to cargo services. Moreover, PIA passengers will be able to benefit from the frequent flyer programme in the codeshare network. This partnership will be applicable on routes where PIA flights do not operate directly.
The passengers will have access to comprehensive travel services through Etihad Airways’ extensive network and the agreement will lead to an increase in PIA’s revenue. This agreement is a milestone for PIA, and it will be formally implemented on October 31.
