Islamabad High Court (IHC) judge Mohsin Akhtar Kayani said on Monday that the appointments made against seniority had ruined institutions, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
During the hearing of a case related to the violation of seniority in the Ministry of Science and Technology, the judge made an observation that wherever seniority was violated, issues were created.
“Somebody has a liking for a particular individual while the other wants the promotion of his relative,” he said, and added, “It is incumbent upon every department to learn from its mistakes. There is no punishment for mistakes. However, there is a punishment for bad intention.”
