Seven people were killed during a dispute in a Jirga held in Dir Bala, reported 24NewHD TV channel.
The incident left many injured as well and as per the latest reports, eight people were in critical condition. The Jirga met to resolve the land dispute for local road construction but two rival groups opened shots at each other.
A heavy contingent of police cordoned off the area and launched further investigation into the killings.
