Court of Additional Sessions Judge Sohaib Bilal in Islamabad on Wednesday reserved its verdict on the petitions filed in the case of vandalism during the PTI’s long march registered against former prime minister and party Chairman Imran Khan and his close associate, Awami Muslim League (AML) chief and former interior minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmad, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Naeem Panjutha, who represented Imran and Rasheed, on the occasion filed two petitions in the court in which he said that while Imran was in District Jail, Attock, the latter had gone missing; therefore it was prayed to the court to order the police to produce both of them in the court. “Merely seeking a report from the superintendent Attock jail is not enough,” he said, adding, “This is because the superintendent will make an excuse that the PTI chief cannot be produced in the court because of security concerns. The court must order the production of the former prime minister and the former interior minister.”
Panjutha went on to say nobody had any idea about the whereabouts of another PTI leader Sadaqat Ali Abbasi.
