The Lahore High Court (LHC) rejected Thursday a petition filed against the acceptance of former Punjab chief minister Usman Buzdar’s resignation, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The informed sources confirmed to the 24NewsHD that the plea was rejected on the ground of withdrawal.
LHC Chief Justice Muhammad Ameer Bhatti heard the petition against the acceptance of former Punjab chief minister Usman Buzdar’s resignation.
The petition was filed in the court by a citizen named Tanveer Sarwar.
Former prime minister Imran Khan, Usman Buzdar, Punjab Chief Minister-elect Hamza Shahbaz and Punjab governor had been made respondents in the petition.
