45 Gulf-bound flights cancelled from Pakistan

45 flights that were scheduled to depart for different countries in the Middle East were cancelled due to the changing situation of the Gulf region, reported 24News HD TV Channel.

 Sources at Allama Iqbal International Airport (AIIA), Lahore, said that six flights failed to take off for different destinations, including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Fujairah.

Nine flights, incoming and outgoing flights of different Gulf countries, were also cancelled.

Twelve flights of different airlines failed to depart from New Islamabad International Airport (NIIA), Islamabad.

Eighteen flights were cancelled from Jinnah International Airport (JIAP) Karachi.

Six flights were cancelled from Bacha Khan International Airport, Peshawar.

Sources revealed that a low number of passengers were witnessed who wanted to travel to the Gulf countries.

Airport sources further stated that low of passengers is the main reason behind the cancellation of flights.
