Pakistan Navy has conducted successful live weapon firing of Taimoor Air-Launched Cruise Missile - an indigenously-developed Anti-Ship Weapon System - in a powerful demonstration of precision strike capability and operational readiness, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to an ISPR press release issued on Tuesday, the air-launched cruise missile executed its mission with exceptional precision, validating Pakistan Navy's combat capability to detect, target and decisively neutralize enemy sea-based threats at extended ranges.
This demonstration by Pakistan Navy marks a pivotal elevation of national defence capability, further strengthening Pakistan Armed Forces' multi-dimensional coordinated strike posture and capabilities in the conventional domain.

It may be mentioned here that on April 16 Pakistan Navy had also successfully conducted a live weapon firing of an indigenously-developed Ship-Launched Anti-Ship Missile, accurately engaging its target with high speed at extended range.
Admiral Naveed Ashraf, Chief of the Naval Staff, along with leading scientists and engineers, witnessed the missile firing.
The missile integrates a cutting-edge guidance system and advanced manoeuvrability, enabling it to evade threats, adapt to dynamic conditions, and deliver with precision and lethality.
The successful launch of this indigenously-developed missile underscores the fusion of technological excellence and operational expertise, the ISPR statement maintained.
