The medical board has confirmed the torture and rape of 10-year-old housemaid Fatima who died some days ago in a haveli of a Pir in Khairpur district, Sindh, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.

The medical board conducted a post-mortem of the young housemaid after exhuming her body on the court orders.

The Sukkur deputy inspector general (DIG) of police said that a camp had been set up in the haveli for DNA testing of all the men.

He stated that the remand of former Ranipur station house officer (SHO), head moharrir, doctor and dispenser would be taken for burying the girl’s body without a post-mortem.

Former Ranipur Hospital Medical Superintendent (MS) Ali Hassan Wasan was also arrested for providing an ambulance for the transfer of the girl’s body. Six people including main accused Asad Shah have been arrested in the Fatima murder case.

It is worth mentioning here that the police have recovered four more girls from Asad Shah’s haveli. In addition to being subjected to violence, these girls were not allowed to meet their parents. They will be handed over to their families after the completion of legal proceedings.

On the other hand, 20-year-old Sana of Mena village was reported to have been missing for one and a half years.

According to the family of the girl, Sana was left with Sohail Shah in the Ranipur haveli as a trust, but now the whereabouts of the girl are not known.

The family of the girl has appealed to the Sindh caretaker chief minister and the police authorities to recover the girl and provide them with justice.

Dispenser who treated Fatima turns out to be Naib Qasid

The dispenser who treated 10-year-old housemaid Fatima in Ranipur turned out to be a peon (Naib Qasid).

Imtiaz, the Naib Qasid, used to go to the haveli and treat the girl whenever her health worsened.

“Imtiaz is not a dispenser but a peon,” the Health Department said.

Asad Shah to be produced in court today

Asad Shah, the main accused in the 10-year-old housemaid Fatima murder case, will be produced in a local Khairpur court.

The preliminary report of Fatima’s post-mortem will also be produced in the court.

The accused was kept at Hangorja police station while arrangements to produce the accused in court have been completed.

Four days ago, a local Ranipur court remanded the accused in police custody.
