Federal government has decided to digitize Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC), reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
During his visit, Federal Minister for National Health Mustafa Kamal said that PM&DC will be completely digitized.
Federal Minister for Health Mustafa Kamal said that the move will reduce merit, transparency and human intervention in service delivery.
Digitization will eliminate problems like nepotism, delay, corruption, Health Minister said.
Health Minister inaugurated PM&DC's newly developed MDCAT question bank.
PM&DC briefed Health Minister on ongoing preparations for MDCAT 2025.
There should be no negligence in preparations for upcoming MDCAT exam, Health Minister said.
Health Minister directed universities to delegate responsibility, ensure transparency and accountability.
It was briefed that PMDC has no involvement in operational matters other than registration and monitoring of candidates.
PMDC provides an environment of impartiality and merit-based admissions.
More than 30 nationwide examination venues have been identified for the convenience of candidates.
Federal Health Minister also inspected the online registration and monitoring portal.
