Sindh Senior Provincial Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon said there was heavy rain in Karachi on 19th August and all government machinery was on roads to drain water, reported 24NewsHDTV Channel.

Addressing a press conference in Karachi, Sharjeel Memon said this time water was drained within two days. In past, the rain water remained on roads even after 5 days.

He criticized MQM Pakistan Farooq Sattar's statement by saying that some people politicize natural disasters.

Memon said that due to rains there are 447 deaths in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and 165 in Punjab and in Sindh there are only 40 deaths but still the media left all the places and launch the campaign against PPP led government.

The senior provincial minister said Pakistan was facing different challenges due to climate change.

After heavy rains in Karachi, the Chief Minister Sindh, Mayor Karachi, Provincial Ministers and entire administration was on roads. The water can not be drained as long as it is raining. The city's drains were occupied and water channels were blocked.

To a question about more provinces in Sindh, Memon 27th Amendment was still a proposal and there will be no province within Sindh.
