Judicial Magistrate Karachi East on Friday expressed anger over the continuous non-appearance of two prosecution witnesses in late Dr Amir Liaquat’s video leak case, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The court ordered DG NADRA to block the identity cards of the two absent witnesses.
The court has also ordered the FIA to produce witnesses by August 27.
Defence lawyer Liaquat Gabol said that Amir Liaquat’s former wife Dania Shah has been coming to Karachi from Lodhran for three years continuously but the prosecution has failed to produce its witnesses.
The FIA has not yet been able to prove that any video was made or sent from Dania Shah's mobile.
