The federal government has notified transfers and postings within the federal bureaucracy.
Dr. Syed Muhammad Ali, Deputy Secretary at the Ministry of National Health, has been transferred, and his services have been placed at the disposal of the Sindh government. Meanwhile, three officers belonging to the Pakistan Administrative Service (Grade 19)—Khizar Hayat, Khalid Pervaiz, and Liaquat Ali Bhatti—have been transferred from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government to the Punjab government.
Abid Ali, a Pakistan Administrative Service, Grade 19, posted at Pakistan Airports Authority, has been transferred and directed to report to the Establishment Division, while Shakeel Ahmed, a Pakistan Administrative Service, Grade 18, has been transferred from CDA to the Interior Division.
Zahid Iqbal, a Grade 18 Police Service officer posted in the Gilgit-Baltistan government, has been suspended. According to the notification, SP Zahid Iqbal has been suspended for an initial period of 120 days under the Civil Servants (Efficiency and Discipline) Rules, 2020; the Establishment Division has issued a formal notification regarding these orders.
