President Asif Ali Zardari has called for further strengthening economic and trade cooperation between Pakistan and China, particularly by promoting greater business-to-business engagement and exploring new avenues of collaboration, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The President expressed these views during a meeting with President of China Africa and Asia Trade and Cooperation Promotion Association Ms Hao Yuejiao, who called on him at Aiwan-e-Sadr in Islamabad on Friday.
President Zardari welcomed efforts to enhance trade and investment ties between the two countries and emphasised the importance of expanding mutually beneficial cooperation.
Senator Saleem Mandviwalla was also present during the meeting.
