MPA Syed Yawar Abbas Bukhari, who was included on the Punjab cabinet recently, was assigned the portfolio on Monday.
Bukhari has been assigned the portfolio of Social Welfare and Baitul Maal Ministry. The Punjab government has issued a notification in this regard.
The newly-appointed minister was elected member of the Punjab Assembly from the PP-1 constituency in the 2018 General Elections.
