Commissioning ceremony of Pakistan Navy's second Babur class PNS Khyber held in Turkiye, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
According to ISPR, the ceremony took place at the Istanbul Naval Shipyard. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan attended the ceremony as the chief guest.Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf also attended the ceremony.
Addressing the ceremony, President Erdogan described Pak-Turkish brotherly relations as exemplary. Turkish President also stressed the need to promote Pak-Turkish cooperation in defence production.
Turkish President also visited PNS Khyber. Regional maritime security was discussed in a meeting with the Naval Chief, Admiral Naveed Ashraf. President Erdogan was presented with a guard of honour on PNS Khyber.
