Pakistan reported 1,360 new coronavirus cases along with 31 virus-related deaths during the last 24 hours (Sunday), showed the data released by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) on Monday morning.
According to the statistics released by NCOC, after the addition of 31 new deaths, the toll has now surged to 30,040, which represents a ratio of 2.0 percent.
The positivity ratio of the coronavirus cases in Pakistan reaches 3.26 percent, as 1,360 new coronavirus cases emerged in the last 24 hours after conducting 41,597 tests. It takes the total cases tally to 1,501,680.

The number of active cases in the country is 67,672 with 1,302 patients in critical condition.
There were 1,315 more recoveries recorded in the last 24 hours as the number of total recovered cases reached 1,403,968 with a 93.5% recovery rate.
Punjab
Punjab, the most populous province of the country, has reported 339 new cases in the last 24 hours, taking the provincial tally to 499,063 with 7,233 active cases. In Punjab, 13 more patients died of coronavirus as the death toll reached 13,454. With 34 new recoveries reported, 478,376 patients have recovered from the virus in Punjab so far.
Sindh
Sindh has recorded 555 new cases during the last 24 hours taking the provincial tally to 564,522 with 47,613 active cases. There were 1 new death reported related to the deadly disease as the death toll in Sindh reached 8,030. With 216 new recoveries, 508,879 patients have recovered from the virus in the province so far.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has recorded 257 new cases during the last 24 hours taking the tally to 214,955 with 10,332 active cases. The province reported 13 new virus-related death as the death toll reached 6,207. With 718 new recoveries, 198,416 patients have recovered from the virus in the province so far.
Balochistan
Balochistan recorded 45 new cases as the tally reached 35,274 with 209 active cases. The province reported no new death as the death toll reached 373. With 20 new recoveries, 34,692 patients have recovered from the virus in the province so far.
Islamabad
Islamabad has recorded 75 new cases during the last 24 hours taking the tally to 133,839 with 1,002 active cases. With 2 new deaths reported in the Federal Capital, the death toll reached 1,004. With 216 new recoveries, the number of recovered patients is 131,833 in the federal capital so far.
Azad Jammu and Kashmir
Azad Jammu and Kashmir recorded 70 new cases during the last 24 hours as the tally reached 42,669 with 969 active cases. With 2 new deaths reported, the death toll reached 783. There were 104 new recoveries in the AJK as 40,917 patients have recovered so far from the virus.
Gilgit-Baltistan
Gilgit-Baltistan recorded 19 new cases during the last 24 hours, as the tally reached 11,358 with 314 active cases. With no new death reported in the province, the death toll remains at 189. With 7 new patients recovered, the number of patients recovered from the deadly disease reached 10,855.
