Pakistani pacer Haris Rauf on Friday said that the defeat against New Zealand was a thing of the past and the team is now focussed on the match against arch-rival India which will be played in Dubai on Sunday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Talking to media persons in Dubai, Haris Rauf said that Pakistan’s pacers have good record in Dubai.
“We are trying to focus the whole Indian batting line-up instead of only one or two,” the speedster maintained.
Haris Rauf further said that injury is part of the cricket game. Fakhar Zaman and Saim Ayub are good batsmen and showing outstanding performance, he said and added their injuries have affected the team’s combination.
“We are quite optimistic that Pakistan cricket team will make a comeback,” he expressed the hope.
Haris Rauf said they will undergo extensive training session to get prepared for the Sunday’s marquee clash.
