A constitutional bench of the Supreme Court in Islamabad on Friday expressed anger over delay in finalizing NAB rules, saying the law secretary should appear before court if these rules are not framed by next date, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
During hearing of the case, Justice Mohammad Ali Mazhar asked which matter is mentioned in NAB rules which led to delay in finalization of the rules.
He went on saying that if rules were not finalized then it must not be mentioned in the constitution. Justice Mohammad Ali Mazhar said that in case the rules will not finalized till next hearing of the case then Secretary Law will have appear before the Bench.
Additional Attorney-General apprised the bench that cabinet committee almost finalized these rules and forwarded the same to cabinet for approval.
The constitutional bench summoned secretary law on next date of hearing.
