Two notorious shooters lost their lives and their three companions escaped during a police encounter in Faisalabad, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
The incident occurred within the jurisdiction of Thikriwala police station in Faisalabad. According to the details, a Crime Control Department (CCD) team signaled five people riding a motorcycle to stop at a check post near Malanpur.
But instead, they started firing at the police party. In retaliation firing by the CCD team two accused Hasnain and Shah Jahan died, and their three companions escaped.
Police said that the dacoits were involved in several serious criminal activities and were hired assassins.
CCD police shifted the dead bodies to the mortuary and started a search operation to apprehend the culprits.
